Outpatient Therapist

Role Description The Outpatient Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Roanoke, VA. This role involves providing individual, couple, family, and group therapy to clients across the lifespan, using evidence-based and culturally responsive approaches. The therapist will conduct intake assessments, develop and update treatment plans, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and coordinate care with other providers and community resources as needed. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing a clinical caseload, monitoring client progress, participating in team meetings and case consultations, and contributing to a supportive, ethical, and collaborative practice environment. The therapist may also help connect clients to relevant support groups, educational offerings, and other resources within the center. Qualifications Clinical expertise in Psychology and Social Work, with the ability to apply developmental and systems perspectives across the lifespan. Proficiency in Treatment Planning, including assessment, goal setting, and use of evidence-based interventions. Experience in Family Therapy, with skills in working with couples, parents, caregivers, and multi-generational family systems. Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field. Active or eligible state licensure (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, or supervision-eligible associate level) in Virginia. Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care for diverse populations. Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards. Comfort working with clients across a broad age range and presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. Willingness to work on-site in Roanoke, VA, maintain a consistent schedule, and collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team. #J-18808-Ljbffr
