Description

American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a hospital-based inpatient rehab unit, requiring an active SC or Multistate Compact PT license.

Details

• Hospital-based inpatient rehabilitation unit with 28 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule: 5x8s, 8:00am – 4:30pm
• One weekend shift required per month
• Holiday coverage may be required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating to other units or sister facilities required
• Charting performed in Epic
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient physical therapy experience required
• Active SC or Multistate Compact Physical Therapist license required at the start of the contract; license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• SSN and Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position

Additional Information

• Pewter scrubs required
• Online modules must be completed prior to start date
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent or PRN staff at this health system must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams; peak activity months are August and September
