In this role, you will apply your organizational skills and attention to detail for successful daily work operations.ResponsibilitiesAssist in ordering of supplies from wholesaler and direct accounts, and verifies items received against invoicesStore items received and assist in maintaining stock levels, to include dating and initialing invoices and/or packing slips upon receiptEnter customer's medication and billing information into computer systemAnswer and screen telephone calls and forwards as neededPerform extemporaneous compounding under pharmacist supervisionRequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDCurrent Pharmacy Technician Certification issued by the Washington State Department of HealthSuccessful completion of National Pharmacy Technician Certification Program (preferred)If required to drive a MHS vehicle, a driver's license is required.About Covington Medical CenterMultiCare Covington Medical Center, a four-story, 58-bed hub, serves southeast King County with inpatient and outpatient surgical care, a birth center, primary and specialty care, urgent care, 24-hour Emergency Department, pharmacy, lab and imaging services. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $28.25 - $46.70 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
