Camp Creative Arts Drama Instructor (Music Conservatory)

Salary Range: $350.00 - $400.00 (weekly)This position is responsible for: Planning, coordinating and directing the functions of the Conservatory Creative Arts program; ensures the quality of programs and safety of youth at all times; provides guidance and role modeling to youth and ensures safety and a positive experience for campers.Key Responsibilities:Guides the work of dance and drama instruction in helping children and youth to succeed in school by increasing their involvement and motivation and helping them to set personal goals.Provides training and development of camper for dance, drama, public speaking, performance and service learning.Provides appropriate lessons for instruction time.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Some physical requirements of the Camp Creative Arts Instructor position could be endurance including climbing, standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to manipulate equipment and activities are required. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate camper activities/programs and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Have a willingness to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours delivering a program in the facility available.
