Accounting Software Support Specialist

Salary: $70,000 - 85,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong hands-on accounting background, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial statements, and month-end/year-end close activities.
• Experience with wholesale distribution or industrial retail accounting is an advantage.
• Prior use of ERP or accounting platforms such as Epicor, Acumatica, Infor, NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, or comparable systems.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain accounting and software concepts clearly and professionally.
• A personable, polished, and approachable demeanor with a genuine commitment to helping clients succeed.
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting ability, and structured problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and the discipline to drive issues through to resolution.
• Self-directed mindset and the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Capability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% throughout the United States.
• Experience supporting ERP software is preferred.
• Experience contributing to or leading software implementations is preferred.
• Knowledge of SQL or relational databases is preferred.
• Experience using Zendesk or similar customer support tools is preferred.
• Experience delivering software training or customer education is preferred.
• A bachelors degree is preferred.
• Professional software implementation experience is required.

• Deliver responsive client support for CAVU ERP users by phone, email, and remote sessions.
• Train new and existing customers on accounting practices and ERP workflows.
• Take part in new customer implementations, onboarding, system setup, testing, and go-live support.
• Travel to customer sites across the United States for implementations, consulting, and training as needed.
• Investigate and diagnose reported issues to determine whether they stem from business processes, system settings, user actions, or software behavior.
• Partner with our development team during debugging and issue resolution.
• Test the software to confirm reported problems and validate fixes.
• Record all customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in Zendesk.
• Work closely with Development, Sales, and Technical Services to create an excellent customer experience.
• Build strong, trusted relationships by understanding each customers business and helping them get the most value from CAVU ERP.
• Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and dependability in a client-facing environment.
