X- Ray Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist (Nights) - Barnes

Barnes-Jewish Hospital – New Plaza West Tower (main level) Position Summary Full‑time Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist. 4 days per week (36 hours) – overnight shift Monday to Thursday (7:30 pm to 5 am). Responsibilities include independent radiographic imaging examinations, occasional OR support, portable exams, and emergency department work. Siemens, Samsung, and Carestream equipment are used. Experience No experience required; suitable for upcoming graduates, new grads, student radiology technicians, and experienced radiologic technologists. Requirements Associate degree or higher in radiography or related field. Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)). Registered Radiologic Technology (ARRT) credential. Responsibilities Prepare patients and equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures. Perform studies independently in on‑call situations, portable exams, and at required sites. Work independently in the emergency department and occasional OR. Utilize Siemens, Samsung, and Carestream imaging equipment. Preferred Qualifications 2 years of experience with advanced imaging modalities (CT, MRI, interventional, mammography, bone density, cardiac catheterization). Basic life support (CPR) and intravenous therapy skills. Knowledge of PET/CT imaging and multi‑slice CT scanning techniques. Benefits and Rewards $5,000 sign‑on bonus (eligible candidates).
