Customer Service Associate

Calculated Hire is looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join their worldwide retail client out of Charlotte. This company is a global leader in high-performance transit and protective cases. They service recreational, commercial, and defense markets, and are working on growing their footprint in the direct-to-consumer sector. As a team of top performers, were on an ambitious path to more than double our revenues over the next five years. To help us reach that goal, were looking for a Customer Service Support person who is energetic, detail-oriented, personable, and capable of managing their time effectively and independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support sales teams growth initiatives
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat
• Conduct outbound sales follow-up
• Data & Order entry
• Assist in managing product expos and trade shows: Research appropriate events
• Negotiate booth space and vendor services
• Coordinate travel and lodging accommodations
• Maintain marketing collateral and promotional inventory
• Manage purchasing for general office materials
• Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

• High energy friendly demeanor
• Strong communication skills
• Patience and empathy in dealing with customers
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years customer service experience in a technical product field
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience with: Microsoft Office Suite experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Shopify (or similar e-commerce platform)
• CRM/ERP systems
• Location: Charlotte, NC

Schedule:

• Monday Friday 7:30-4:30
