Essential Functions Attends meetings in the presence of supervising Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the purpose of receiving and/or conveying information. Conducts speech and language screenings using district approved screening instruments. Confers with classroom teachers for the purpose of providing requested information, implementing plans for services and/or making recommendations as directed by supervising SLP. Maintains various files and/or records for the purpose of providing written support and documentation required. Prepares materials and follows speech language lessons appropriate for individuals or small groups (e.g. speech therapy, teaching materials, etc.). Provides direct instructional services to students under the supervision of the SLP for the purpose of implementing goals for remediation of speech language deficits. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor. Education & Licensing Requirements Community College and/or Vocational School Degree.
