Applied AI Engineer

Requirements

• 6 or more years of experience as a Software Engineer, AI Engineer, or Platform Engineer building production systems.

• Proficiency in Python for building and deploying scalable production services and APIs.

• Experience with LLM application frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, OpenAI APIs, Anthropic APIs, or MCP.

• Experience building AI workflows involving retrieval, tool calling, orchestration, and structured generation.

• Experience deploying and operating AI systems on AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud-native environments.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements across engineering, product, and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers and subject-matter experts to translate workflows and pain points into clear problem statements.

• Build AI-powered applications and workflows, including RAG pipelines, research assistants, and agent-based capabilities.

• Implement and iterate on LLM application features such as prompt engineering, multi-step workflows, and tool calling.

• Contribute to scalable orchestration layers for prompting, retrieval, and tool integration across AI services.

• Support engineering teams in adopting AI/ML engineering practices, reusable tooling, and evaluation frameworks.

• Create technical documentation, sample applications, and implementation guides to support AI adoption across teams.
