Our trading activities connect project developers, brokers, institutional buyers, traders, and financial market participants across global environmental commodity markets. We are expanding our trading desk and are looking for an experienced Carbon Sales Trader with an established wholesale network and proven commercial performance. Role Overview The Carbon Sales Trader will focus on developing and expanding GREENIPATH's wholesale trading activities across voluntary carbon markets. You will be responsible for originating and executing trading opportunities while building and maintaining relationships with traders, brokers, exchanges, project developers, and institutional market participants. Success in this role depends on your existing market network, commercial instincts, and ability to generate profitable trading opportunities. Key Responsibilities Originate and execute wholesale carbon credit transactions. Develop and maintain relationships with traders, brokers, project developers, and institutional market participants. Expand GREENIPATH's wholesale trading network across international markets. Source liquidity and identify attractive market opportunities. Negotiate purchase and sale agreements for environmental commodities. Work closely with origination and project development teams to commercialize project supply. Monitor pricing, market dynamics, regulations, and emerging trends across voluntary carbon markets. Consistently achieve trading volume and profitability targets. Candidate Profile Minimum 3 years of proven experience in carbon trading or environmental commodities trading. Established network of wholesale counterparties within Voluntary Carbon Markets. Demonstrated track record of generating profitable trading business. Strong understanding of carbon market pricing, liquidity, and market dynamics.
