Here we do more than work — we thriveOur purpose: We pioneer the innovations that move and connect people to what mattersResponsibilitiesThe Fleet Servicing Specialist is responsible for effectively servicing Fleet Service accounts while using strategies that align with all legal, regulatory, departmental, and company standards. Frequent tasks may include, but are not limited to, billing inquiries, fleet service questions, assistance with MyFleet Account online customer portal, collection efforts, and general account servicing tasks. The Fleet Servicing Specialist will collaborate with internal departments, customers, dealers, and external vendors in servicing Fleet Service customers. The Fleet Servicing Specialist will assist with the research, development and implementation of new departmental processesIn this role you will:Provide exceptional customer service within any servicing channel to a timely and desirable resolutionPerform account maintenance of complex and high exposure accounts to support customer retentionMonitor and maintain a closed loop feedback process to ensure that all Fleet customer requests and expectations are exceededAssist in leading projects, research efforts, special assignments and serve as a subject matter expertEstablish open communication and build professional relationships with other departments/segments and external vendorsService accounts through inbound, outbound, and email channels to ensure service levels, account resolution, and timely processing of customer requestsUtilize collection tools appropriatelyIdentify and develop process enhancementsConform with all company policies and proceduresQualificationsWhat makes you an ideal candidate?Knowledge and SkillsKnowledge of automotive servicing systems and web applicationsKnowledge of the dealership, fleet/commercial and indirect auto finance industry operationsKnowledge of servicing procedures and strategies for Fleet customersKnowledge of state and federal laws (e.g., FDCPA, SCRA, repossession and bankruptcy)Knowledge of GM Financials core business functions, policies and proceduresAbility to thrive in a fast-paced work environmentStrong listening, verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detail, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to interface with all levels of managementAbility to meet deadlines while effectively managing multiple tasks/projects at onceAdditional Knowledge and SkillsWorking effectively within an AI enabled environment:Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily workSkills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and biasExperience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insightsFamiliarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generationUnderstanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protectionWork Experience & Education3-5 years in related field preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredWhat we offer:Generous benefits package available on day one to include: 401K matching, bonding leave for new parents (12 weeks, 100% paid), tuition assistance, training, GM employee auto discount, community service pay and nine company holidaysOur culture: Our team members define and shape our culture — an environment that welcomes innovative ideas, fosters integrity, and creates a sense of community and belonging.
