They will develop and provide necessary tools, training, and work processes to effectively plan and safely implement operations and project field work. The Operations Specialist home location will be in **Mt.Airy, LA.** This position will also support El Paso, TX, with occasional travel.**RESPONSIBILITIES** • Plans, develops, and drafts energy isolation plans to ensure the safe execution of project and maintenance work. • Develops, updates, and manages procedures, policies, standards, and other documents to ensure compliance and conformance with company policies. • Leads and/or supports field-based audits. • Supports the Management of Change (MOC) process by completing reviews and updates. • Leads in the development of project work plans, such as CDRs. Serves as the initial contact for energy isolation questions and concerns. • Facilitates discussions and acceptance of approved processes and standards. Serves as champion of change within their Area. • Participates in incident investigations when appropriate and share and learnings within their Area. • Participates in teams and special assignments as assigned by the leadership. • Participates in SHS and emergency response events as required. • Holds general overall knowledge of operations within their Area. • In co-located facilities, works in collaboration across components. • Supports Elite Safety Leadership journey.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • High School Diploma/GED required. • Two (2) years of related experience required.• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. • Strong time management and prioritization skills are required. • Strong understanding of Energy Isolation Process preferred.
