Software Test Engineer

Title: Sr Software Test Engineer

Location: North Andover, MA (Onsite)

Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)

Schedule: 8am-9am to 4pm-5pm (1 hour flexibility)

Job Summary

• :Engineering position, under moderate supervision participates in designing, building, and maintaining processes to test and verify software products used in medical devices and engineering projects related to medical technology
• .Applies standard engineering practices to resolve simple problems, contributes to the validation and verification of software products

Responsibilitie

• s:Defines and executes test cases for new and existing Ivenix Infusion System product
• s.Following preestablished testing procedures. Ability to apply technical theories and principle
• s.Accurately assess results for validity and conformance to specification
• s.Develops and maintains detailed documentation, for both internal and external customer
• s.Traces tests and results to system and subsystem requirements and escalates findings to Sr Engineers or Engineering Manag
• erOperates within defined processes and procedures consistent with a regulated environment. Works on problems of simple to moderate Product where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factor
• s.Effectively operates as an individual contributor and a member of the large team. Sets up and maintains test articles and test fixtures. Apply sound judgment in resolving routine and non-routine issues, following established guidelines, and escalating when situations fall outside defined parameter
• s.Participates in technical reviews and responsible for organizing data and preparing appropriate documentation for assigned project

• s:2+ years of related experience in the medical device industr
• y.Experience working in the Agile environment is desire
• d.Experience in medical device software development and testing is preferre
• d.Experience with test case execution and reporting is require
• d.Thorough understanding of software test principles and best practices needed to produce high quality softwar
• e.Proficiency with test automation process, tools and methodologies. Experience with Selenium WebDriver is desire
• d.Experience working in the virtual environments. Experience with VMWare, Hyper-V is preferre
• d.Strong problem solving and analytical skill
