Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 9 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Local Contract Occupational Therapist ClinSpec Location: The Woodlands, Outpatient Building Contract Length: Flexible, covering multiple FMLs with potential 10 or 12-hour shifts Monday through Friday Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient clinic team in The Woodlands. The role involves planning, evaluating, organizing, and implementing Occupational Therapy (OT) treatment programs for patients ranging from neonates to adults. The therapist will perform patient evaluations, develop individualized care plans, set measurable goals in collaboration with patients and families, and provide advanced clinical care in a specialty area. The position requires effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality care. Remote access for documentation may be available. Required Qualifications: • Active OT license in Texas • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric, women's health, orthopedics, or sports medicine, or 1 year of residency in these areas • Knowledge of rehabilitative care for acute and chronic conditions across all age groups • Demonstrated professional competencies • Ability to independently develop and follow therapy plans • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Proficiency in using basic office equipment (fax, copier, PC) Preferred Qualifications: • Pediatric experience in an outpatient setting • Rated as “exceptional” or “consistently exceptional” in previous performance appraisals Additional Information: • Flexible workdays and hours • Opportunity to work remotely for documentation tasks • Focused and methodical approach to clinical tasks • Knowledge of adaptive equipment recommendations and usage RightSourcing IHS Job ID L-37591572.
