Bus Driver
We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Bus Driver. This is a part-time position (guaranteed 20 hours per week) located at Coloma High School. The Bus Driver will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a school bus while transporting students to and from school-related activities
- Ensure the safety of all passengers while in transit
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle
- Communicate effectively with school staff and parents/guardians
- Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle malfunctions to the appropriate authorities
- Follow all school policies and procedures related to transportation
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must have CDL or able to obtain before August 20th, 2026
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Must be able to communicate effectively with students, parents/guardians, and school staff
- Must have a reliable mode of transportation to and from work
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, afternoons, and evenings
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Previous experience as a driver or working with children is preferred, but not required.
