Radiology Technologist

Radiology Technologist PRN We are seeking an experienced X‑ray tech to join our clinical team in a PRN capacity at the multi‑specialty outpatient surgery center, which is committed to patient excellence every occasion‑every time. Job Summary Perform the described duties in the primary work area and demonstrate competency in orthopedic radiology, pediatric radiology, operating room radiology, and trauma radiology. Operate X‑ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as specified by the physician; adjust equipment for proper exposure, voltage, and current in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures. Determine, prepare and set up medical supplies, instruments and equipment; explain X‑ray procedures to patients; position patients for each anatomical view specified using immobilization and protective devices as required; report any changes in patient condition to attending medical staff. Monitor accessory equipment and assist the attending physician with fluoroscopic examinations and special radiographic studies. Qualifications Active state license and ARRT license required upon hire. American Heart Association BLS certification required. Experience with C‑ARM and O‑ARM preferred.
