Job Description & Requirements Specialty: First Assist Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 16 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Cardiac OR RNFA Rochester, NY Start Date - 09/14/2026 36or 48hr/wk, primarily weekdays 7a-7p and 11a-11p with on call responsibilities per unit need Complete Description: Cardiac RNFA must be able to assist with chest exposure and closing as well as independently perform vein harvesting for CABGs. It is preferred but not required to first assist in DaVinci robotic cases. It is also preferred but not required be able to scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases which may include CABGs, structural heart cases (i.e. Bentall), minimally invasive procedures (i.e. Mini Aortic Valve Replacement), and heart failure cases (i.e. Impella). Heart transplants are also performed here and experience in heart transplant is preferred. Requirements: - 2 years of cardiac RNFA experience - AHA BLS and ACLS - NYS RN license, - CNOR certification - Telemetry Skills: Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Move RN License (NY License ONLY) Required BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) Required Two (2) Years Experience Required 2 Years ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) Required CNOR Certification Required Telemetry Required Questions: Question 1 When can this candidate start their assignment at SMH?
