Key Responsibilities

• Conducting in-depth patient assessments and ordering essential diagnostic tests, creating personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions either in collaboration with physicians or independently (based on credentials)
• Educating patients and their families on preventive health, wellness strategies, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and other therapies that align with your professional scope

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in Washington state
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
