Role Description The Pharmacist role at ANDERSON BROS TOWN & COUNTRY PHARMACY INC is part-time or full-time, on-site position based in Sacramento, CA. The pharmacist will dispense prescription medications accurately, verify and review prescriptions for clinical appropriateness, and counsel customers on proper use, side effects, and storage of medications and cosmetic-related therapies. Daily duties include maintaining accurate patient profiles, monitoring for drug interactions and contraindications, and ensuring compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations. The role also involves supervising pharmacy support staff, managing inventory and controlled substances, and assisting with insurance claims and prior authorizations. Pharmacists will contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient pharmacy environment while delivering courteous and professional customer service. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong clinical pharmacy knowledge, including medication therapy management, drug interaction assessment, and patient counseling skills. Candidates should possess proficiency in prescription processing, pharmacy management systems, and accurate documentation practices. Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to educate patients, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and support a customer-focused environment. Candidates should possess sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy retail pharmacy setting. Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution and a current, unrestricted California pharmacist license are required. Experience in retail or community pharmacy and over-the-counter products is highly beneficial. Ability to stand for extended periods, follow safety protocols, and maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and relevant regulations. #J-18808-Ljbffr
