Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Punch Press/4-Slide Operator to join our manufacturing team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating punch presses and related machinery to produce high-quality metal components. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes, blueprint reading, and precision measurement to ensure products meet strict quality standards. The Punch Press Operator will play a vital role in maintaining efficient production workflows and ensuring safety compliance within the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Set up and operate punch press machines to cut, shape, or form metal and non-metal materials.

· Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings.

· Select appropriate dies, punches, and tooling based on job specifications.

· Load materials into the machine and ensure proper alignment.

· Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and accuracy of produced parts.

· Inspect finished components using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).

· Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain tolerances and production output.

· Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.

· Maintain a clean and organized work area.

· Document production counts, quality checks, and machine issues.

· Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines.

Experience

· Proven experience operating various manufacturing machinery such as stamping presses and press brake machines.

· 4-slide or multi-slide experience a plus.

· Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

· Skilled in using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges for quality inspection.
