Travel-RN-EDCity/State: Brownsville, TexasShift: Nights, 19:00-07:00Contract Length: 13 WeeksStart Date: 08/17/2026Job Description:The Emergency Department Travel RN will provide high-acuity nursing care in a 22-bed unit within the Valle Regional Medical Center. The RN will work alongside a team consisting of charge nurses, registered nurses, ER techs, and support staff, utilizing the Meditech EMR system.Responsibilities:IV insertion, medication administration, EKGs, splinting, and wound careModerate sedation for procedures such as reductions or cardioversionAssisting with intubation, CPR, rapid sequence intubation, and code responseCare of stroke, STEMI, sepsis, trauma, and behavioral health patientsTransport preparation and coordination for higher levels of careTriage assessment and prioritization based on ESI guidelinesIsolation and infection control protocolsDocumentation and reassessment in fast-paced environmentsRequirements:Minimum 5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a high-acuity settingCurrent BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred)Strong triage and critical thinking skillsTrauma and cardiac alert experience, including care of STEMI, stroke, and sepsis patientsExperience with Meditech documentation system preferredBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not requiredClient Details Address 100-A Alton Gloor Blvd. City Brownsville State TX Zip Code 78526
