If you are a detail-oriented collaborator ready to make a direct community impact, we invite you to build your career where it matters most.What You'll DoAs a Program Manager, you will lead the day-to-day management and implementation of assigned youth and family programs, supervise program staff, monitor performance and outcomes, and ensure grant commitments translate into high-quality services and measurable community impact.Program Leadership & OperationsLead daily implementation of assigned programs, work plans, timelines, and service-delivery activitiesTurn grant requirements and program goals into clear workflows, staff assignments, and measurable outcomesExercise sound judgment in addressing operational challenges, prioritizing work, and allocating program resourcesIdentify opportunities to strengthen services, workflows, and overall program effectivenessLead & Develop Your TeamDirectly supervise, coach, and support staff as neededSet clear expectations for performance, service quality, productivity, and documentationManage staff schedules, coverage, training, and day-to-day workflowPartner with the Director and HR on hiring, onboarding, performance management, staff development, and corrective actionGrant Management & ComplianceManage grant milestones, deliverables, reporting deadlines, and performance requirementsPrepare narrative reports, outcome summaries, dashboards, and supporting documentationMaintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready program recordsEnsure assigned programs remain aligned with funder and contractual requirementsData, Outcomes & QualityMonitor participant enrollment, services, referrals, outcomes, and key performance indicators (KPIs)Use data and dashboards to identify trends, service gaps, and opportunities for improvementMaintain strong standards for data quality, documentation, and complianceTurn performance data into actionable strategies that improve program resultsBudget & Resource CoordinationMonitor program spending against approved budgets and identify potential variancesReview program purchases, reimbursements, invoices, and supporting documentationCoordinate staffing, technology, supplies, equipment, and other resources needed for effective program deliveryCommunity & Partner EngagementBuild productive relationships with community organizations, service providers, employers, educational partners, participants, and other stakeholdersRepresent GSUL programs at community meetings, outreach activities, and partner eventsStrengthen referral networks connecting youth and families with GSUL and community resourcesWhat We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Business Administration, Public Health, Education, Nonprofit Management, Human Services, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of progressively responsible experience in program management, nonprofit or human services, youth programs, or community-based programmingDemonstrated experience supervising staff or leading teams, including coaching, workload management, and accountability for resultsExperience managing grant-funded deliverables, performance measures, compliance documentation, and outcome trackingStrong professional writing skills with experience preparing program, grant, or funder reportsStrong organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, databases, dashboards, case-management or client-tracking systems, and digital productivity toolsFamiliarity with generative and agentic AI tools and their appropriate use in professional workflowsPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Education, Nonprofit Management, Human Services, or a related fieldExperience with grant reporting, program evaluation, quality assurance, compliance monitoring, budget tracking, and audit preparationExperience participating in hiring, employee performance, staff development, or corrective-action processesExperience working with youth, families, and underserved or diverse communitiesBilingual or multilingual proficiency, particularly Spanish, Dari, Pashto, Hmong, or another language reflective of the communities GSUL servesCompensation & Benefits$72,500 annual salaryMedical coverage with 75% employer-paid premiums100% employer-paid dental and visionRetirement savings plan (401k)Paid time off (PTO) and holidaysEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Wellness benefits through WellhubProfessional development opportunitiesThis is a grant-funded position.
