CDL Driver / Asphalt Paving
Location: York, PA Type: Direct Hire CDL Truck Driver
Daily pre-trip inspection and post inspections
Cleaning and maintaining the daily task to maintain the truck
Material transport: Haul aggregates, blacktop, and equipment between quarries, asphalt plants, and construction zones.
Backing trucks safely into pavers or maneuvering through tight construction zones with low clearances.
Site support assist with manual labor, such as shoveling/raking/brooming to finish edges and joints when work is needed
Minimum requirements:
Licensing: Requires a valid CDL Class A and a current medical examiner's certificate
Physical stamina: To sit for long periods of time and the capacity to lift 50 to 75 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in extreme heat or near hot asphalt
Positive attitude
Able to drive around construction site and tight spaces within city limits.
Able to navigate to various job sites throughout the day
Good communication with foreman
Follow basic PPE requirements
High school diploma or GED required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required
