Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$2413.24/week -

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a busy ED environment, ensuring quick assessment, effective treatment, and patient safety for a diverse patient population. Deliver holistic, individualized care with a focus on acute and critical needs.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients upon arrival and prioritize care based on acuity.
  
  
• 
  Deliver direct patient care, including interventions, medication administration, and monitoring.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.
  
  
• 
  Document clinical findings and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with clinical standards, licensure, and certification requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid CA RN Licensure with current Nursys verification.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience.
  
  
• 
  Current BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS certifications.
  
  
• 
  EPIC electronic medical record system experience required.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work 3x12 night shifts with rotating weekends.
  
  
• 
  Strong critical thinking and effective communication skills.
