We lead YouTube creative and content programming as a strategic channel. We staff and train in-house YouTube teams for clients, hiring video producers, editors, and strategists, and build long-form storytelling systems designed to compound over time. The result: evergreen content that earns millions of views, builds loyal audiences, and drives conversions. Your Role: Accountant As one of the first internal accounting hires at Snowball, you'll play a key role in building the financial foundation that supports our growth. You'll own the day-to-day accounting operations that keep the business running smoothly while helping build scalable systems that allow our team to move quickly and operate efficiently. You'll work closely with leadership across invoicing, payroll, bookkeeping, reporting, forecasting, and financial operations. From day one, you'll own meaningful work that keeps Snowball running smoothly while gaining exposure to every part of our finance function. Our goal isn't just to hire someone to do the job today. We're looking for someone who wants to grow into owning this function over time. We're intentionally hiring for potential over experience. Our goal is for the right person to become fully autonomous within 6–12 months. As your responsibilities expand, so will your compensation, career opportunities, and ownership of the finance function. What You'll Do Manage client invoicing and cash receipt processing Process payroll accurately and on schedule Process contractor payments Process vendor invoices and execute timely payments Review and process employee expenses and reimbursements Maintain and reconcile records in QuickBooks Online Support month-end review and reporting Maintain and update financial forecasts Ensure the accuracy of financial data across all financial systems Maintain financial systems and integrations that improve efficiency, including the Finance Drive as the central source for contracts and financial documentation Build and maintain financial forecasts, reporting, and analysis in Google Sheets Build and maintain financial forecasts, reporting, and analysis in Google Sheets Ensure all financial records are properly stored, organized, and audit-ready Continuously improve internal financial processes and documentation standards What We're Looking For 1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) Recent graduates with relevant accounting, bookkeeping, or internship experience are encouraged to apply Strong working experience with QuickBooks Online Google Sheets proficiency and experience building spreadsheets for reporting or analysis Solid understanding of payroll and accounts payable/receivable processes High attention to detail and accuracy Highly organized and self-directed in a remote environment Strong communication skills and an ownership mindset Excited to learn quickly and grow into increasing responsibility Experience in an advertising, agency, or professional services business is a plus What We Offer Annual salary: Up to $48,000, with a clear path for increased responsibility, career advancement, and compensation growth as you become fully autonomous in the role Health & vision benefits 401(k) Fully remote Direct mentorship from the co-founders Ground-floor opportunity at a fast-growing company Our Values Work hard, learn harder Be effectively proactive Overdeliver for clients Be kind by being clear A+ players only Ready To Apply?
