In this role you will be responsible to move inbound and outbound product efficiently and effectively through the warehouse for delivery. This position will be responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules.Our Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent, or a combination of education and experienceSix months experience working in a WarehouseKnowledge of operating a forkliftOur Preferred QualificationsPlanning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignmentsProficiency in inventory software, databases, and systemsFamiliar with modern warehousing practices and methodsYour ResponsibilitiesReceive and check in merchandise from in-bound shipments compare to purchase orders or other documentsFill case and bottle orders for productsLoad delivery trucks and other outbound shipments of billed ordersRestock daily bottle and case inventory soldParticipate in inventory counts as directedUnderstand and adhere to the safety rules and requirements in the workplaceEnsure warehouse equipment service needs, safety needs, workplace accidents, and other safety issues are reported promptlyAttend safety meetings, and take safety classes, as neededResponsible for filling out equipment report before usageResponsible for meeting operational efficiency goals and benchmarksOrder Selector SkillsForklift and Riding Jack SkillsLoading Truck SkillsLift and push more than 50 lbs.Operate other warehouse equipment, as neededPerform other job-related duties as assignedPhysical Requirements:You must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipmentThe ability to stand or walk an entire shift (8-10-12 hours)As the Distributor of Choice, Glazer's Beer and Beverage embraces a culture where diversity drives innovative solutions for the success of our employees, retailers, and supplier partners.
