Your impact- Own the setup and operation of a 3‑machine cell of CNC lathes and/or a compact cell of CNC mills—juggling multiple machines confidently.
- Lead day‑to‑day on Haas lathes and VMCs (multi‑axis), ensuring safe, efficient, and repeatable setups.
- Create your own setups for a low‑volume/high‑mix workload.
- Design and fabricate tooling and fixtures to support reliable, economical part production.
- Translate verbal instructions, drawings, and specifications into accurate parts; lay out work using sound engineering and design practices.
- Apply independent judgment, strong technical skill, and solid shop math to meet quality and throughput targets.
- Partner with machinists and operators—hand off stabilized machines, assist in setups, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Hands‑on setup/operation of Haas CNC lathes and mills.
- Experience with sub‑spindles, live tooling, and bar feeders.
- Fluency in G‑code; precise use of micrometers, calipers, and related gauges.
- Comfort handling small delicate parts and larger, heavier stock and components.
- Team‑first mindset; high attention to detail; able to work independently and/or take direction from a supervisor or lead.
- Basic shop math and a track record of personal continuous improvement.
- Lift and move 50+ lbs. with regular bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Stand or sit for 8+ hours; walk, bend, and stretch as the work demands.
First shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.
