Job Description

This role supports a busy manufacturing operation by performing a variety of general production and labor tasks, including packaging products, operating equipment, and assisting with material handling. You will work on either day or night shift, contributing to the smooth and efficient flow of production while maintaining a safe and clean work area.

Responsibilities

• Package pipe at the end of the production line according to established procedures and quality standards.

• Perform general labor and production duties to support continuous manufacturing operations.

• Operate forklifts safely to move materials and products as needed along the production line.

• Operate machines down the line after receiving proper training and instruction.

• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Meet productivity expectations while maintaining attention to detail and product quality.

• Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production schedules.

• Collaborate with team members and follow direction from supervisors to complete daily tasks.

Work Environment

This position is based in a typical manufacturing facility that can get a little dirty and is not fully climate controlled, though conditions are described as manageable. You will work a structured schedule with two primary options: a day shift from Monday to Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (totaling 48 hours), or a night shift from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. (also totaling 48 hours). The environment involves working around production lines, packaging equipment, and forklifts, with an expectation to wear appropriate work attire suitable for a manufacturing setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lemont Furnace, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
