Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting facility operations and maintenance initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Fall River, MA
Pay Range:
Shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm (Weekends as needed)
What's the Job?
- Perform general maintenance and repair work throughout the facility
- Complete preventative and reactive maintenance tasks as assigned
- Perform building maintenance including plumbing, lighting, wiring, and structural repairs
- Maintain facility equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and material handling equipment
- Inspect building areas to identify safety hazards or repair needs
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1–3 years of general maintenance or facility maintenance experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs
- Ability to operate standard maintenance tools and power tools
- Ability to read and follow basic maintenance instructions and safety procedures
