About the Position

Job Opportunity – Chemotherapy Infusion Registered Nurse – Indiana

Start Date: August 27, 2026

Location: Terre Haute, Indiana

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (typically completes earlier). Some flexibility with hours based on patient schedules may be requested.

Highlights:

• Fast-paced chemotherapy infusion unit with immediate need for skilled nursing professionals
• Administer intravenous chemotherapy drugs and other IV therapies in an acute care setting
• Utilize Cerner EMR and Intellidose (TxM) medication management systems
• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-treatment patient assessment and care
• Monday through Friday schedule with early Friday finish
• Assess patients, access ports or establish peripheral IV access for lab draws and therapies

Requirements:

• Active and unencumbered Indiana RN license (or ability to obtain)
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification required
• Previous chemotherapy infusion experience strongly preferred
• Chemotherapy certification highly desirable
• Experience with Cerner and Intellidose (TxM) systems is a plus
• Ability to operate infusion equipment and monitor patients during treatment
• Strong assessment skills and ability to recognize and respond to side effects or reactions per established protocols
