This involves repairs, inspections, and new installations on all machinery.Compensation and Schedule: $41.25 hourly rate Rotating 1st, 2nd and 3rd shiftsResponsibilities:Install, repair, calibrate, and inspect electrical devices, equipment, and circuits in the plantReceive and inspect wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications to resolve electrical needsRepair or replace faulty motors, switches, control panels circuit breakers, control devices, batching systems, control instrumentation, and other plant electrical and electronic equipmentPlan and perform work on energized circuitsMeasure, cut, bend, and install fittings, switches, controls fixtures, and wiresConnect all types of electrical equipment for new installationsPlan and perform skilled soldering repairs, installation, and calibration of thermocouple and pyrometer-controlled systemsConduct system and equipment inspections to ensure they meet operational standards and safety regulationsEnsure proper and safe operation of all production machine systemsCommunicate and work with Plant Engineering Manager, Maintenance Supervisors, Production Supervisors, Scheduler, and production staffComply with environmental and food safety standards as set forth in plant policies/programs within department responsibilitiesAdhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including proper use of PPE and ensuring the compressor room is compliant with safety and environmental standardsRespond to emergency repair requests and minimize downtime in critical operational periodsAll other duties as assignedMinimum Skills / Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentJourneyman level Electrician experienceExperience in industrial control, lighting, and wiringMust be able to stand for 8 hoursMust be able to lift twenty (20) poundsPreferred Skills / Qualifications:Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)Compensation: The anticipated starting pay rate for this role is $41.25 per hour.About Ardagh Group: Ardagh Glass Packaging is a global leader in glass packaging solutions, producing packaging for the world's leading brands.
