Who Are We? The John B. Amos Cancer Center is a regional destination, the only oncology center in the area to offer a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary program accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons, the only treatment center to be so named in the 14-county service area of Columbus, Georgia. The 107,000 square foot state‑of‑the‑art facility employs 5 hematology oncologists, 3 radiation oncologists, a breast surgeon, a thoracic surgeon, two GYM oncologists, and all associated support and ancillary staff to support the program.
