Data Engineer Intern

Data Engineer InternAs a Data Engineer Intern on the Berkley Technology Services (BTS) Berkley Data Warehouse Team, you'll partner directly with a team of highly experienced data warehouse engineers and architects. You'll gain hands-on experience related to the Berkley data warehouse. Key functions will include but are not limited to:Develop ETL processes using DataStage or SSISDevelop and utilize Tidal Enterprise Scheduler workflowsDevelop MSSQL/Azure SQL statements and or stored proceduresDevelop understanding of insurance, reinsurance, and financial dataAssist with implementation and management of UiPath Orchestrator, Automation Hub, and Task MiningAssist with implementation and management of DataStage, SSIS, Redgate, FivetranCollaborate with peer technical teamsCollaborate with Operating UnitsQualifications:At least three years of college or university coursework completed; preference is for some coursework related to computer science or similar area of studyPrior related co-op, internship, and/or on or off-campus technical experience preferred but not requiredPrevious exposure to RDBMS solutions (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.) is a plusExperience leading group projects in a classroom, internship/co-op, and/or professional setting is a plusUnderstanding of RESTful APIAdditional Company Details:We do not accept unsolicited resumes from third party recruiting agencies or firms.
