Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, Oncology - Atlantic Medical Oncology

JOB DESCRIPTION

Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non‑profit healthcare networks, is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) to support a busy and expanding Outpatient Hematology and Medical Oncology practice located in Carol G. Simon Cancer Center at Morristown Medical Center. Our team of hematologists and medical oncologists, as well as additional nurse practitioners and physician assistants, coordinate unified comprehensive care, including chemotherapy and radiation therapy, along with supportive care services. This position is full‑time with no weekends or call requirement. The primary role of the APP is to work collaboratively with a robust dynamic group of board‑certified cancer specialists. The APP is expected to provide hematology & medical oncology specialty patient care in an outpatient care setting. The APP will also educate patients and families, and work with insurance carriers for peer‑to‑peer reviews. The ideal candidate will bring a positive and caring attitude, excellent communication skills, clinical expertise in oncology.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey BLS required 2+ years of hematology/medical oncology experience is preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
