Job specification

• Provide anesthesia care for patients undergoing surgical, therapeutic, and diagnostic procedures, ensuring optimal safety and comfort.
• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia by established protocols and patient needs.
• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments to determine the best anesthesia plan tailored to the patient's medical history and surgical requirements.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, adjusting anesthesia levels as necessary and responding to any complications.
• Oversee patient recovery from anesthesia and provide post-anesthesia care instructions.

Candidate requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is required.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in anesthesia care, preferably in a hospital or surgical setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
