Foundedin 2013, Third Coast Distributing is part of a global serviceorganization that distributes automotive and industrialreplacement parts. Doing business as NAPA AutoParts, TCD serves thousands of customers through an independent networkacross South and Central Texas.

Aboutthe Role:

The District Manager is responsible for the financial performance,people leadership, operational excellence, and overall success of multiplestore locations. This role drives store performance by coaching and developingStore Managers, establishing goals, supporting problem-solving and processimprovement initiatives, setting operational standards, and recognizingoutstanding performance.

The district is typicallycomprised of 9 -12 stores in a geographic area. The District Manager isexpected to live within 40 miles of the midpoint of their area, and preferablywithin their area. Position reports directly to the VP of Operations.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Drivedistrict-wide sales growth by executing business strategies, identifying marketopportunities, and ensuring stores consistently achieve revenue objectives.
  • Maximizedistrict profitability through effective management of sales performance,labor, expenses, inventory, and operational efficiencies.
  • Provideleadership and direction to store management teams, ensuring alignment withcompany goals, policies, and performance expectations.
  • Analyzekey business metrics, sales trends, and financial reports to identifyopportunities, address challenges, and improve overall district performance.
  • Ensureconsistent execution of company initiatives, merchandising standards,operational procedures, and customer service expectations across all locations.
  • Recruit,develop, coach, and retain high-performing store leaders while building astrong talent pipeline for future growth and succession planning.
  • Establisha culture of accountability by setting clear performance expectations,conducting regular store visits, and driving continuous improvementinitiatives.
  • Monitorand evaluate store operations to ensure compliance with company policies,safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partnerwith store leadership to develop action plans that improve sales, customerexperience, employee engagement, and operational effectiveness.
  • Fostera customer-focused culture that enhances brand reputation, drives customerloyalty, and supports long-term business growth.
About You:


The idealcandidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • High School Degree or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • 4 + years' experience in the automotive after-market service industry;multi-unit retail store management experience preferred.
  • Knowledgeand understanding of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.
  • Strongsupervisory, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strongbusiness acumen.
  • Relatewell with and interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Learnand adapt to current technology needs.
  • Microsoft OfficeSuite proficiency.
  • Manageworkload and prioritize tasks independently and with a team.
  • Experienceworking cross functionally and gaining consensus to make informed decisions andrecommendations. Travelis expected to be >50% of working time, including regular visits to assignedstore locations; must possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license.

Essential Physical Requirements
• Prolongedperiods of sitting, computer work, keyboarding, and use of standard officeequipment.
• Abilityto communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically.
• Occasionalstanding, walking, and lifting or carrying office materials up to 15 pounds.
• Frequenttravel between assigned stores, customer accounts, and prospective clients.
• Abilityto perform duties in a typical office environment, with or without reasonableaccommodation.
• Instores, ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, includingfrequently lifting or moving up to 15 pounds and occasionally lifting or movingup to 60 pounds.
