Shift: 5x8s – 8:00AM–5:00PM
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule provider appointments, labs, diagnostics, procedures, treatments, and follow-up visits.
- Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical departments to optimize patient scheduling.
- Schedule appointments based on provider availability and patient preferences.
- Complete documentation to support treatment and procedure pre-certifications.
- Manage complex scheduling requests under physician or clinical staff direction.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining scheduling accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience (healthcare preferred).
- Experience with healthcare scheduling.
- Epic EMR experience required.
- Experience using multiple online computer applications.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Preferred Skills
- Clinical scheduling experience.
- Experience coordinating complex patient appointments in a healthcare setting.
