Hazardous Waste Disposer Leader

Summary

You will serve as a HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSER LEADER in the Facilities & Maintenance Department C/900 (Shop 99) of PSNS and IMF.

Duties

• You will attend/arrange/ and chair meetings with managers planners and estimators contractors technical personnel and work groups to coordinate project support and completion.
• You will identify workload needs overtime and issues which may impact the cost schedule or customer requests on the project.
• You will coordinate 910H assistance and arrange for cleanup supplies as necessary and concurrent with direction from the 910H supervisor and ship or Shipyard On Scene Commander.
• You will direct other workmen whenever and as necessary to handle any unusual or emergency situation that relates to the project being coordinated.

• Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes dust heat ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
