General Job Description Wisconsin Heavy Fabrication IES Infrastructure Solutions Title: General Laborer Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Assembly/Weld Supervisor Location: Manitowoc, WI Summary: The General Laborer performs a variety of physical tasks to support daily operations and production activities. This position assists with maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment while following company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Responsibilities: Perform manual labor tasks as assigned by supervisors or team leads. Load, unload, move, and organize materials, supplies, and equipment. Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively. Assist with production, assembly, packaging, or shipping activities. Maintain a clean and organized work area through housekeeping activities. Follow all company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with equipment setup, cleanup, and basic maintenance. Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Specific Qualifications Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is required. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic math and measurement skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to workplace safety.
