Schedule includes Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) and Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) shifts, with potential for rotation based on operational needs.

Job Description

We are seeking a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital environment. The role entails caring for a diverse patient population with potential floating to various units within the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients with medical and surgical needs.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, and respond to changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in patient management and treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and wellness strategies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry nursing.
• Current, active Ohio RN License or Compact State License in hand.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Must have experience floating between different nursing units, including Emergency Department as needed.
