About the company:

Branded Independent is a talent management agency. We represent creators on YouTube, TikTok and Instagram. Our creators aren't accounts to us. They're people building careers, and we're in their corner for the whole thing. Brand deals are a big piece of it, but so is the strategy, the research, and the introductions. We've had clients come to us wanting sponsorships who ended up building a business. We're a startup, growing fast, working with brands people are glad to see on their feed.

About the role:

You'll build and carry a roster of 10 to 15 creators and be their main point of contact. About half of the roster needed at the large agencies because we offer the highest Industry Commission

Half the job is brand deals. Research the brands, find the right person, write the outreach, run the call, negotiate, and manage it through delivery.

The other half is the creator. Learn what they're building, bring them things that fit, and tell them when a deal isn't worth taking.

Already managing talent? Bring them with you. Plug your current creators into our agency's contracts, systems, and brand relationships, and keep building your roster with us. No roster yet? We'll help you build one.

How we work:

We run on creator time, not office time. Some days are normal and Some days a deal breaks at 8pm and it needs handling. That cuts both ways. Nobody counts your hours, and you work from wherever you want. But if you need a hard stop at five every day, this won't work.

About the person:

You're a dealmaker who loves the creator economy. Outgoing people do well here. We'd take too much energy over someone who blends in. You have to run yourself, and you have to like people. Creators will tell you about their business, their life, and their bad week. The relationship is what we do better than the rest.

Qualifications:

1+ year of experience in influencer talent management, at an influencer or creator agency, or in brand partnerships is required. You've negotiated and closed creator-brand deals and know YouTube, TikTok and Instagram sponsorship pricing.

Compensation:

• 10% commission on every deal you book, no commission cap
• Commission-only, no base pay
• First-year target: $60,000

Our first-year booking target is $600,000, which pays $60,000 in commission. A $20,000 deal puts $2,000 in your pocket.
