Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – PRN

Location: River Terrace Retirement Community – Bluffton, IN

River Terrace Retirement Community is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team in Bluffton, IN. This flexible, as-needed role is ideal for a compassionate clinician who enjoys making a meaningful impact while maintaining schedule flexibility.

In this role, you’ll work closely with an Occupational Therapist to help residents improve daily function, regain independence, and enhance quality of life through personalized, hands-on care.

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.

• Provide direct therapy services to improve residents’ ability to perform daily activities.

• Monitor, document, and report resident progress.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

• Educate residents and caregivers on exercises and techniques for continued progress.

Qualifications:

• Active COTA license in the state of Indiana.

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently in a flexible PRN capacity.

• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred, but not required.
