Position Overview 

An excellent locum tenens opportunity is available for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist seeking a long-term assignment in south-central Pennsylvania.

This full-time opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule with occasional weeknight call and the opportunity to practice within an established cardiovascular program supported by experienced physicians and APPs.

Physicians will provide outpatient clinic coverage, inpatient consultations, advanced cardiac imaging interpretation, stress testing, cardioversions, and TEE procedures while utilizing Epic EMR.

The assignment is ideal for physicians seeking recurring full-time coverage within driving distance of Baltimore, Harrisburg, Frederick, Hagerstown, and the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Provider Compensation: $390/hour plus applicable call compensation

Provider Pay Ranking: Top 10% of comparable Mid-Atlantic Non-Invasive Cardiology locum assignments.

• Average daily census of 25–35 patients

The physician will:

• Provide outpatient cardiology clinic coverage
• Perform inpatient cardiology consultations
• Interpret transthoracic echocardiograms
• Perform and interpret TEE studies
• Perform cardioversions
• Interpret nuclear stress tests
• Interpret Holter monitors
• Interpret electrocardiograms
• Evaluate stress testing
• Collaborate with Interventional Cardiology and Electrophysiology services
• Complete documentation within Epic EMR
