As a Resource Specialist Program Monitor , you’ll coordinate vital resources, remove barriers to housing, and connect participants with state agencies and community partners to support successful, long-term tenancies. Preferred Experience: Experience working with housing, community-based services, and/or support services for vulnerable populations. Knowledge of state and federal housing voucher programs, food assistance programs, and/or community support programs. Five years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus two years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR A bachelor’s degree plus two years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR An advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate plus one year of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services.

EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:

Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Job Duties: Coordinates resources and support services to assist individuals transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing through rapid re-housing. Identifies housing, community, and supportive resources necessary to promote successful and stable tenancies. Assesses and addresses housing availability, barriers, and other challenges that may affect participants’ ability to secure and maintain housing. Ensures required documentation for housing, community resources, and supportive services is completed accurately and timely. Performs duties associated with annual recertification to ensure participants remain eligible for program services and housing assistance. Collaborates with state agencies, community organizations, landlords, and service providers to improve access to housing and supportive resources. Assists in developing and implementing policies and procedures that strengthen resource coordination and promote long-term housing stability and independence.
