Job Description

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contracted, school-based placement in Raytown, MO for the 2026-2027 school year !This is a full-time building support role providing a local K-12 district with nursing services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Active LPN license in Missouri
• Current BLS CPR/AED certification
• Pediatric and private duty nursing experience preferred
• Seizure management - competent with seizure action plans and rescue medications
• Tube feedings
• Pediatric diabetic care
• Oxygen and airway management
• Medication administration
• Catheterization
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently
• School-based nursing experience (preferred)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist building nurses with screenings and documentation review
• Provide first aid care and daily medication management
• Rotate through classrooms or buildings to administer medications, tube feedings, diabetic care, and other student health needs
• Serve as a private duty nurse (PDN) for students with medical needs such as diabetes management, seizure management, or G-tube feedings
