Work Environment

Our Cleveland facility is an onsite rehabilitation center equipped with state-of-the-art therapy tools, equipment, and a welcoming atmosphere that promotes healing and recovery. Our team comprises a diverse group of healthcare professionals who work collaboratively to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The standard schedule for this role is Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility required to accommodate patient needs and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, addressing their specific recovery goals related to mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, stretches, and activities, ensuring proper technique and adherence to safety standards.
• Educate patients on body mechanics, effective exercise techniques, and adherence to home exercise programs to enhance their rehabilitation journey.
• Use and administer modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under the guidance of licensed Physical Therapists.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, functional capacity, and strength gains.
• Maintain treatment areas, ensuring all equipment is organized, sanitized, and readily available for use.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team comprised of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists to optimize patient care.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients, fostering a positive and motivating rehabilitation environment.
• Uphold professional and ethical standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting individual rights.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, sports injuries, and age-related challenges. Our goal is to deliver tailored care to each individual, promoting recovery and mobility restoration regardless of the complexity of their condition.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist in Tennessee.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to continual learning and professional development within the field.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting focused on rehabilitation services is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience working with specialized populations such as geriatrics or pediatrics will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits
