Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Physician Assistant with emergency medicine experience for a trauma-capable emergency department in a community hospital in Frankfort, KY. This full-time locum role involves delivering high-acuity adult and pediatric emergency services with clinical autonomy over a 2-week assignment starting May 3, 2026.

• Location: Frankfort, KY • Assignment Type: Locum Tenens • Setting: Community hospital ED handling high-volume urgent cases • Coverage: Full-time, 40 hours weekly, scheduled across various days starting 05/03/2026 through 09/25/2026

Schedule Details • Start date: May 3, 2026 • Duration: 2 weeks (potential extension) • Hours: 40 per week

Clinical Scope • Provide emergency care for adult and pediatric patients in a trauma-capable ED • Manage trauma, medical, and minor emergencies • Support patient transfers and case consultations • Collaborate with ED physicians and staff to deliver efficient patient care

Requirements • Kentucky State License (active and unrestricted) • DEA certification • Certified Physician Assistant (PA) • ACLS, ATLS (mandatory), PALS certifications • Ability to work independently • Prior emergency medicine experience or recent ED practice preferred
