PHLEBOTOMIST

Phlebotomist Corona Regional Medical Center® – a 238‑bed community hospital network composed of a 160‑bed acute care hospital and a 78‑bed rehabilitation campus. Join our team to provide safe and efficient phlebotomy services. Responsibilities Reports to the Director of Laboratory and obtains blood samples for laboratory testing. Performs clerical duties associated with charting and paperwork. Performs some tests under the supervision of medical technologists. Retrieves and distributes reports according to procedure. Requires use of personal vehicle, either as a courier or to conduct phlebotomy at other locations. Supports Corona Regional Medical Center mission, values, strategic plan and performance improvement plan. Qualifications Knowledge of typing and laboratory computer systems preferred. Associate degree in Science or MLT (ASCP) preferred. Current California Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) required. Current BCLS (CPR) certificate required. Current California driver’s license and vehicle insurance required.
