Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law.4 Day WorkweekShift DifferentialsCareer Growth: Strong internal promotion culture and career development opportunitiesPaid Training & Mentorship: Learn from experienced staff and build real-world skillsFull Benefits: Health, dental, vision, life insurance + 403(b) with matchTime off: PTO, personal leave, and overtime opportunitiesEducation Support: 10% off CCU online programsMay be eligible for student loan forgiveness through the Public Service Federal Loan Forgiveness ProgramWhat We're Looking ForDependable, steady, and able to perform in a structured, fast-paced environmentStrong judgment, situational awareness, and problem-solving abilityAbility to remain calm and professional in difficult or confrontational situationsComfortable with hands-on work and direct interaction with youthExperience in youth work, behavioral health, coaching, security, corrections, or similar roles is a plusWhat You'll DoProvide direct supervision and structure for youth in a residential settingWork closely with clinicians and educators to implement treatment and behavior plansMaintain firm, consistent boundaries while supporting youth through challengesUse verbal de-escalation techniques in high-stress situationsConduct safety checks and monitoring (room checks, 15-minute bed checks)Transport youth to school, appointments, and activitiesSupport daily operations including meal prep and light upkeepDocument activities and participate in team meetings and trainingWork with youth experiencing trauma, aggression, and behavioral challengesAvailable shifts:Saturday - TuesdaySaturday 9:45 pm - 9:00 amSunday 9:45 pm - 9:00 amMonday 9:45 pm - 9:00 amTuesday 9:45 pm - 4:00 am or 4:00 9:00 am (alternating every other week)Minimum QualificationsMust be at least 23 years old (22 may be considered)Meets one of the following: 2 years of college (60 credits)Associate's degreeHigh school diploma + 2 years of human services experienceHigh school diploma + 30 college credits + 1 year of experiencePreferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in related fieldRequiredDue to the short length of stay for these clients, mastery of direct care skills is a mustValid Colorado driver's license (or ability to obtain one) with a clean driving recordApplicants must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening as a condition of employment, in accordance with Colorado Department of Human Services regulations for child care facilities. This screening includes state criminal background checks, fingerprinting, sex offender registry searches, and abuse and neglect clearances. If the applicant has lived in any other state within the past five years, equivalent background and abuse/neglect checks from those states will also be conducted. In addition, all direct care applicants are required to complete a health evaluation or physical prior to beginning service to confirm they are fit for duty.
