Job Summary We are seeking an Orthopedic and Neuro Registered Nurse Manager. You will provide leadership and expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care in a medical surgical environment. The role involves leading patient care on a 24‑hour basis and ensuring compliance with nursing standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Provide leadership and take responsibility for delivery of safe, quality patient care in assigned departments. Ensure department’s standards of nursing practice and policies meet legal and accrediting requirements. Ensure continuity of care through interdisciplinary team approach. Collaborate and share patient information with physicians, patients, and other team members regarding patient progress and treatment. Develop and implement ongoing programs to measure, monitor, assess, and improve quality of nursing care. Coordinate patient care with other services and departments throughout the hospital. Qualifications Licensed as a Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations. Minimum nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred. American Heart Association BLS certification. Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred. Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal skills; ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions. PC skills.
